programs. with the Benton
Harbor Area Schools.
During the question and
answer period the group asked
question about the qualifica­
tions of jobs, where to take the
civil ervice test for stale and
federal jobs, promotions and
orne reasons why your
employer can and cannot fire
you and many more.
Mr. Abdullah told the
group that taking the test (or
the postal ervice is nothing
ca y. "You have to study very
hard" he said.
When you don't pass the
test the fir t umc for the postal
ervice, don '1 give up, he told
the group urging them to con­
tinue taking the test until they
pas it.
And when you pass the ic t,
he aid, and an opening in the
field that you are applying for
come .. up and. you don't get
called, write a letter to the
civil service board and request
that your name remain on the
list for another opening might
come up. If you don't send a
letter or call, he said, your
name will be dropped Irorn the
