The city came to TIP A as
king for help in running the
Business Growth Center, said
Christopher Broo , Chairman
of the Board. It will take an es
timated cost of $19,440 for
operational services, moving
• the staff and renovation of the
building for the tenants, said
Brooks.
Broo said the City would
provide janitorial services for
the Center until 50% of the
building was filled.
At the present there are only
three tenants in the building.

During the Downtown
Development Authority Board
meeting, Christ Brooks,
Chairman of th Board, told the
hoard members that there is still
no heat in the Liberty building
and still a lot of work is to be
done on the roof.
Brooks said their major con
cern is to get the heat on so the
building can dry out, - get
some of the moisture out before
it starts to mildew again.
Brooks said it would cost an
estimate of $43,235 for general
construction of the Liberty
Theatre Project.
Kevin Clements, member of
the Project Committee said it
would take an estimated co t of
S40-SO,OOO to ju t demolish the
Liberty, but they want to try to
keep the building in g od hape
to show.
