HIGHLAND P - At the Oc
tober 2 meeting of the Highland
Park City Council, Mayor Mar
tha G. Scott declared a
Domino's Pizza Site at Wood
ward and Ricliion, would "be an
asset," but area residents who
were there, made it clear they
were far from convinced.
Addressing community con
cerns about aime in the area,
Scott said th t the pizz ria
would "eliminate a cant lot" in
the neighborhood with a "well
lighted facility" in the alley and
around the building. The
Department of Public Safety,
she noted, reviewed the ques
tion of security.
. She dded th t the pizza
busines would increase
property taxes and provide 30-
40 more jobs. To insure safety
and efficiency in delivery,
Mayor Scott uggested they
would be .. Highland Park
residents.
