Rose Hubbard, one of the
100 outstanding gradua es of
historically Black colleges and
universities (UBCU) was
honored by the National As
sociation for Equal Education
Opportunites. (NAFEO) as a
distinguished Alumni at the
14th National 'Conference on
Blacks in Higher Education in -
Washington D.C., this spring.
Hubbard was nominated
by her alumni, Lewis College
of Business in Detroit, for
making a significant contribu
tion to American society after
graduating fro an all Blac
institution.
Executive Director of
NAFEO, William Lewis said
the organization acts'as liason
for the entire organization of
Blac Collegtes throughout
the United States.
Hubbard graduated from
Lewis Business College in
1961, from there she attended
Wayne Community College
and received an Associates
Degree in Supervision and
Management She went on to

Detroit but did not complete
their degree requirements.
