Morehouse College in Atlanta,
Georgia. While attending
Morehouse, Tyrone played for
the var ity baSketban team,
joined the Campus Crusade for
Cluist, scned as p-esidcot of
the student body for two years,
and was on the Dean's List for
six semestrzs.
Upon his graduation from
Morehouse in 1982, he was
asked by the Reverend Jesse
Jackson to become the Na •
Youth Director of Push for Ex
cellence. After a year of service
in this position, he was ap
pointed as National Director of
the Push for Excellence
program. In 1984, he resigned
from this position to become the
National Youth Director and
National Director for Voter
