He said that sociIogical studies have' indicated on a na­ tional . that more Blacks appear in aiminal courts than whites and he does �ve an im­ pressiGn coecernieg Blacks that appear in other areas of the courts. For example, he said that he does not see, many Blacks in d.NoI'ce courts, or with ny problems that involve domestic relations such as 'a1S­ tody s-uits, etc. And said few Blacks appear on the non-sup­ port calendars. He also said of that number many were Black and re female and noted that it is very possible fo a Black to become a Circuit Court Judge today.- His advice to the Black youth is to work very hard, stay in school, get the best grades that you can, take each day one day at a time and prepare yourselves so when opportunities avail, you will be prepared. Judge oecker was born in 1941 in Constantine, Michigan. He graduated from high school in 1959.
