funds are:
- The GratiotlSeven
Shoppi Center, with a grant of
$905,000. This project involves
the renov tion of the former
Montgomery Ward building on
Gratiot at Lappin and construc­
tion of a new 70,OOO'square foot
building. It has a total value of
$5.7 million. The shopping
Center is joint venture be­
tween Heritage Square
Development Corporation and
the community-based Greater
Gratiot Development Corpora­
tion. It is estimated 100 per­
manent jobs and 50 construc­
tion jobs will be generated by
the project.
- Porterfield's arina Vil-
lage, with a grant of S 1.9 million.
