The Highland Park
Revitalization Committee was
created four years ago to
timuluate preservation and
revit liz tion in Highland Park
neighborhood . The
committee's goal was realized in
part Oct ber 1, when two dis
tricts were nomin ted into the
National Register of Historic
Places.
Councilman Frank Ross an
nounced to the two district
group that part of if not alJ of
the ten treets had been
declared historic.

The north-end district will he

Lawn Subdivision and the

She says there is no district in
Detroit that features bungalow
homes like the ones in Highland
