Dear Confused, E Dear Erik, About two weeks ago, I dis­ covered that there was money missing from our family owned business. I went over the accounts and books several times and I was very sure that I had not made a mistake. I then went to my parents to find out if they had any information reguarding the missing funds. They were shocked and angry with me for not doing my job for which I am highly paid!). I didn't know what to say, so I just tood there cl to tear . fe day later it happ n d a am. I have al found out that he ha been d aling with drugs. He said that he would stop using drugs and would never steal gain. Bu t can I beli ve him? If this is a rious problem shouldn't I go to my parents? I don't kno the steps I could or ould take. One contained the native Detroiter, famous recording artist, Ray Parker Jr. Seeing the limos, the stu­ dents' curiosity was in gear as each began to as who is it? whose limos are these? When the answer reached their ears, many high-pitched squeals rang out in unison, "IT'S RA Y PARKERJR.!!!". On a visit to his alma mater Monday, Sept 28, Ray Parker greeted by a host .of friends and instructors. Mobbed by the attending stu- J dents as he entered the build- RAY PARKER JR lp autographs d visits- t ing, his intent was merely to his IDa mater, orth tern HIgh School, during a trip to say hello as well as promote home t Detroit to promote his new album, "After Dar " his new, soon-to-be released album, 'After Dark' Due to a busy schedule, Ray was not able at that time to sit for the interview I had planned. However, time arrange­ ments were made for later. Sometime later that in the evening the phone rang, when I said, Hello?" a soft I aid­ bac voice replied, Hello, this is Ray Parker". Again, I said, "Hello", this time with enthusiasm. Being aware of his limited time opportunities, I managed to keep the interview short and sweet.
