"On the road again, is an ap
propriate theme for the Spig
ner family vacation. Rev.
Harry Spigner, his wife Alecia
and their three children spent
much of August in the
southeast in a motor home.
The family firs attended a
family reunion in Columbia,

broke his ann). Then it as

From florida it was back
north to Charlotte .C. anda
two day visit with Rev. and
Mrs. Raymon Hun who had
accompanied the Spigners to
florida. Then, it was off to
Carthage Tennessee and a
visit with Alecia' (Mrs. Spig
ner's) family. Daughters Uvon
and Andrea took advantage of
this s op to rest and visit with
ins and Iricuds.
From Tennessee it was of
to Detroit to drop off nephew
Martell who had joined the
trip in outh Carolina, and to
participate in the Black Fami
ly Reunion sponsored by the
a ional Council of egro
Women.
After a two-day stay, it was
ba to Muskegon, where the
family immediately re ed
to their busy schedu or
Mrs. Spigner, it was back to
wor as instructor at the
Grand Rapids Job Corps for
the children time to prepare
for school (Andrea starts
Kindergarten) and for Rev.
Spigner it was board meetings,
working on buildings taping
t.v, programs and past ring
the proud people of John Wes
ley A.M.E. Zion Church.
The pastor's comment upon
his return home I really en
joyed the trip, but it's good to
be home.
