THE ICHIGAN CITIZEN 7 Highland Pk group to perform for Port Huron Toppers HIGHLAND PK - Sonny C. and Liquid Smoke Band will perform at the 47th an­ nual Topper Sportsman Club Dinner dance Ball, according to ovella Dozier, manager. The event will be in Port Huron, Saturday, Sept. 12, startmg at 7 p.m. The Topper portsman Club was founded in 1941 by a handful of Port Huron citizens concerned with the lack f entertainment in the com­ munity. Only two of the original members survive, Pursey Jack­ son and ted Collins. The Highland Park group performed last year for th Toppers and are the only group to be asked to repeat, Dozier said.
