$50,000 a year, picking up any
cost overruns the bus com­
panyhas.
The city commission has
been split on the Dial-A-Ride
issue with Commissi oners Wil­

ways than city support for the
Dial-A-Ride.
No other municipality in the
Twin Cities area supports Dial­
A-Ride, despite the fact, that

with no commercial activity in
the city, the bus service does
most of its transporting of city
residents to businesses outside
of the city.
City officials expected- to
receive $59,900 annually for
Dial-A-Ride if the millage had
passed and based on current
state equalized valuation of
$472 million in the city.
Proposal Two, if passed,
would have given the city
$82,600 annually to help meet
payments to the state of the
Emergency Loans.
