High Schoo1 Student Commons Area, the
Board of 1!iducation will hold a public
hearing on the levying in 1987 of an
additional proposed millage rate of .6215
mills for operating purposes pursuant to
Act 5, Public Acts of Michigan, 1982.
The Board of Education has the complete
authorit)' to establish that 32.7129 mills be
levied ill 1987 from within its present
authorized millage rate.
The maximum additional proposed millage
rate would increase revenues for operating
purposes from ad valorem property tax
levies in 1987 otherwise permitted by Act 5,
Public Acts, of ichigan, 1982, by 1.94
percent (1.94%).
The purpose of the hearing is to receive
testimony and di cus the levy of an
additional millage rate. Not less than seven
(7) days following the public hearing the
Board of Education may approve all of any
portion of the proposed additional millage
rate:
