nounced this wee that the
Department of anagement
and Budget awarded
70,347 to the city of
Muskegon Heights to con­
tinue the Juvenile Intercep­
tion Program.
The Juvenile Interception
Program is a program
developed to curb the rise in
juvenile delinquency. The
program "intercepts'
troubled youths at an early"
stage to prevent them from
continuing on a path
towards more evere crime
and continued delinquency.
This will be the second
year the Juvenile Intercep­
tion Program will receive
funds.
