ells has been granted by the
Presidium of the ational
Brotherhood of the Church of
God in Chri t a new identifi­
cation.
The original J urisdi tion
outhwest Michigan hich was
he dquartered in Detroit, Michi­
gan for thirty-eight years under
the le dership of the late Bishop
J .S. Bailey, h d grown from
thirty-eight churches to one
hundred and sixty-five churches
and missions. At the demise
of the late Bishop Bailey, the
Presiding Bishop and General
Board divided the work into
four separate Jurisdi tions, by
appointing four Bishops. Two
of the Bishop remain head­
quartered in the city of Detoit,
one Bishop in Flint, Mi., and
the fourth Bishop heacquartered
in Benton Harbor, Mi (Bishop
Wells.
