Dr. ulder revealed to the
Bard that LMC has received
43,512 federal Job Training
Partnership Act grant to tart
a new remedial math and
English program for eligible
per ons and a 25,573 state
grant to continue a training
program for ingle parents.
Dr. Jame Fent, vice-
president for in tructional ser­
vices, announced that LMC
has received a $64,961 state
grant, to be matched by an
equal amount from the college,
for equipment, program evalua­
tion, career guidance, curriculum
development, and facility re-
novation. Dr. Fent indicated
that mo of the money will
b spent for equipment for
the computer lab and machine
tool, drafting, and 'nursing pro­
grams.
Dr. Fent al told the Board
that LMC and Kellogg Com­
munity College together will
offer a joint associate degree
in food ience and food pro­
cessing technology. The fir t
