and wealth development what
civil rights organizations have

building clubs for sometime.
Such clubs would have as
their aim the bringing together
of motivated people, creative
busine information and finan
cial resources in order to stimu
late the development of more
Black businesses and, simply
put, more wealth among in
dividual Black people.
Busine ownership
and sound financial investing are
the route to take to financial
curity.
However. for a host of social
,
and historical reasons business
has not been the arena where
Blacks have m de many notable
achievement . This has to
change. To help bring about
this change is why I helped
form the ational Association
of Black Wealth Building Clubs.
Our immediate aim will be to
share needed financial and busi
ness opportuniti s information
with clubs throughout the
nation. 'A lot of that informa
tion will be included in our
monthly newsletter which begins
national distribution in about
ninety days. In addition we
will b organizin Black wealth
building clubs and conducnng
seminars in cities throughout
the nation in the next few
months.
