A youth program funded by the State of Michigan will be getting under way soon for area youth 18 to 21 years of e as well, according to Stei­ ner. "The ichigan Youth Corps will provide approximate­ ly 350 job for the three coun­ ties, with about 180 of tho jobs dministered through the PIC," Steiner explained. The balance will be administered by the Michigan Department of _----- o 3 ployment Program, there is no low income requirement for the jobs through ichi an Youth Corps, but th state-funded program has fewer slots Steiner concluded. It has provided over 60 000 job over the p st three summers in ichigan, according to the Governor's office.
