OF CORRECTIONS
has op nings in several locations throughout the state,
including th Upper Peninsula, in both full and part-time
positions.
Comprehensiv prison health care, specially the psychia­
tric compon nt, is a relatively new national d velopm nt.
During this past decade, Michigan has taken a leadership
role in upgrading its program of health services to persons
committed to th 0 partment of Corrections. And we
continue in our efforts to upgrade th quality of our ser­
vices.
Remuneration varies and depends on experience and
certification, with annual salaries ranging from $66,100
to $95,400. Employment arrangements can also vary -
from part-time contractual services to part or full-tim
