'Dear aye: . nister F a rrakh an uses the most important element in human motivation: elf-esteem. Every person regardless of race, need something in which to pride himself where it be a job, intelligence, material pos- e ions, athletic ability or ap pearance. White have built in ciological self-reward to lift up their spirits and pro vide them with confidence when nothing el e will work. They have the presumed factor of 'recial superiority. Most Blacks have virtually nothing. Min ister F arrakhan tells them that they are not the lazy, tupid inferior that ociety ays they are. He tells them that they can lift themselve up with their own natural capabilities and be somebody. In spite of his rhetoric, which turns certain people off look for Minister Farrakhan to become one of the most significant Black leaders in America. 'Dear Dr. Faulkner: What i it that m es Dic Gregory' Bahamian Diet plan popular? I am poor and can't afford to . buy it. What can I do to 10 eight without spending much money? Mrs. R.T .C. e York. "Dear rs. R.T.C.: America is obsessed with losing weight. Some people will spend hundreds of dollars each year on a new weight loss plan that they thin will make weight 10 s easy and painles . There are two major cate gories of ichigan Concealed Pistols licenses. The are (1) onrestricted, and (2) Re stricted. onrestricted licenses are quite broad in scope and allow one to carry a loaded pistol on one's person, or in one' car, without requiring a wrapper or container, and with out tim restrictions. Restrict- ed licenses have much tighter controls, as the designation it self indicates. Restricted licenses govern target and field use, and/or home banking and business use. onrestricted licen s are rarely granted. Home banking and bu . ness restricted 1icenses are granted a bit more frequent ly, and targe and field re stricted licenses are granted on a more general basis. It is my understanding that although one must register a pistol, it may be kept in one's home provided it stays there, with out requiring any license. Last year several people who held horne banking and business restricted licenses for a long time were denied renewal of those licenses. In the face of such tight control over pistol licenses, and the denial of re tricted home banking and business licen s to veral citi zens, one h the right, I think, to why Republican State Representative Marvin Knight has twice been granted a non restricted licen .
