MUSKEGO - The Muske-
gon City Commission gave pre
liminary approval for a $3500
grant to establish a victim
restitution program for crime
committed by juveniles.
The program will be funded
by the Julia Hackley Fund
with certain conditions t.
To meet qualifications for
re titution the victim mu t
be poor and live in the City of
uskegon. The ju niles ill
be ble to work on two dif
ferent program . 0 cash will
be receiv d, only a chec tub
ill be provided the juvenil
showing that the money went
to the victim.
It is hoped that the pro-
gram will rve a a model to
attract dditional grants for
simil r programs.
