joined the fight to combat
famine in Ethiopia and in
¥ ral African nations. Ac-
cording to Therman cKenzie,
& 's Executive Vice President
who erves on a blue chip com­
mittee of the American Red
Cro -Atlanta Chapter to raise
an estimated $100000, &M
will contribute $10,000 to the
food fund.
"When babies and families
are dying because they don't

have food then we all share a
problem and we all need to fix
it," explained cKenzie. "This
crisis will affect several genera­
tions of Black people in Africa
and we in America must do all
that e can to relieve them in
. some way. We are a Black­
owned firm and our products
are used in Africa and all over
the world. y partner, Cor­
nell cBride and I ave always
felt it our responsibility to
support our own, and as long as
there is need among Black
people &M will continue to
be involved."
