Today, some 10 million Ethiopians face starvation in the worst famine in memory � Various agencies
are working cooperatively with each other to alleviate the suffering. Food supplies
provided are getting through. They are being distributed.
Help will be needed until the rains come again. In the past 2 years, the rains
have failed. And now, 1.8 million tons of food are needed to sustain the
Ethiopian population.
