Christmas is a gentle time
For inner thoughts and quiet prayer
Counting blessings, giving thanks for
Those who love you, those who care.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU
Christmas is a magic season -
"Secrets" tied with satin bows.
Those you love, good friends around you -
Christmas cards and fond "Hellos"!
Christmas is a "Birthday Party" -
A "Giving" path for us to find,
To celebrate this Joyous Season -
Christmas comes but once a year!
Just bow your head in quiet thanks -
Your silent prayers will reach God's ear.
-Margaret Bobian
Turkey roasting, boughs and holly -
Wrap the gifts and trim the tree.
Evergreen wreaths, Christmas stockings -
So much to feel! So much to see!
