Four district functions are
being recommended for the
advi ory council' con iderat­
ion. They are:
-Assi t the school district
in identifying the adult and
continuing education and train­
ing need which could be t be
met through the public schools.
-Advise the school district
as to the appropriate programs­
or services which could be im­
plemented to meet the adult
training needs,
ist the school district
in the acquisiuon of resources
which could be required to
carry out programs and services.
-Ad vis and a sist in the
coordination and articulation
between the various adult and
continuing education or tr ining
component, uch as: adult
basic education, adult educat­
ion for developmentally dis­
abled, adult high school, kill
training center, job club and
other . milar programs.
It is h ped this action would
be a mean of making uskegon
public schools more relevant
to the real educational needs
of the citizens.
