Dr. Spen er Crew, a Smith-
nian Historian, has been spear
heading this project for over
two year. He has in terviewed
noted historians and collected
rtifacts imperative to the illu
stration of the exhibit "Field
to Factory: Afro-American i
gration 1915-1940." The e -
hibit portray individual mi
grants' experiences through
phot raph t_ ols and rna hines,
oral historie and other obje ts.
