Zion Baptist Church, Benton
Harbor. She received her
elementary and high school
education in Southeast Missouri
and Osceola, Ark.
She received secretarial train­
ing at the Urban League, Chica­
go, Illinois, studied beauty cul­
tural at S die's Beauty School
in Chicago and graduated from

Benton Harbor where she also
