The inority Apprenticeship
ram is an innovative pro­
gram, ponsored by the College
of Agriculture and atural Re-
urc. I t gives the student
hands-on experience ith to-

Th student lived in Wil­
son Hall and worked at diverse
ite such as the Kell gg Biolo­
gical Station, the Hancock Turf­
gra Research Center and
offices of the Michigan Depart­
ment of atural Resources.
They ranged in age from high
school juniors to college fresh­
men, and their home towns
included Detroit, Ponti c,
Washington, D.C., and Ea t St.
Lolli .
When not on the job, the
students toured such campus
sites as the Wharton Center
and the planetarium and t­
tended workshop on leader­
ship, motivation and tim m n­
