to dwell on things of that
nature.

like, the citizens of the com
munity should be most apprecia
tive that they have uch a
dedicated group in the fire
department.
While in the urrounding
towns the firemen are sitting
around the firehouse looking at
TV or polishing their boot,
the Decatur men are constantly
orking to upgr de their skills.
They are so de perate to learn
all there is to know that they
want to spend every hour of
the day practicing. They know
that reading books about fire
fighting is nice but actually
fighting fire every day makes
one much more proficient.
They did what they did 0
that they would be better
prepared to protect you.
When a truly big fire comes
to this area they will probably
be the only ones who will know
that to do for their towns
people. We know that a big
fire is coming because a few
years ago "God gave oah the
rainbo sign. He said, no mo
water, its fire next time."
LEST WE FORGET: Sharp

mentioned as one of the towns
where two Blac ere killed
by South African police last

unarmed Black men, women and
children were shot down in cold
blood by South African police
