BENTO TWP - Lake ichigan
College has been awarded three grants
totaling $220,873 by the Private Indus
try Council (PIC) to accelerate and
intensify the training of the unemployed
in the are and to put such persons
in a competitive position in the labor
market.
One of the grant . in the amount of
$5,856 is being d at C to con
den three previous date processing
course into one short program, according
to William eirick, LMC dean of Occup -
tional Studie .
This instruction, which tarted July 23
and will end Sept. 6, is being conducted
by Dorothy Hildebrand, LMC business
education and data processing adjunct
faculty member.

will be used to train unemployed person
in the technique and proces s of retail
sale. This 96-hour program 0 instruct- .
