Money for home rep The Planning Department, located in the Muskegon Heights City Hall, operates on a grant received from the U.S. Depart­ memt of Housing and Urban Develop­ ment. It purpo s are to conserve the City's exi ing housing stoc and to promote economic development. Grants hich do not have to be repaid are available to 10 and moder te income homeowners living in target are of the City (see map ofboundarie ). The grant can be a much as $6,500 and are used to bring a house into compliance with the City's housing cod .
