In th Holy Quran it says; "00 y not see thaf God has sub jected to your (use) all things in the Heav ns and on Earth, and has made His bounties Flow to you in exceeding Measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about God, without a book to enlighten them!" (31:20) I would like to continue our discussion from last week on science and AI-lsi m. The human being is different than Allah's other creation in that he has in telligence. He is not a creature that is a slave to instinct. What we need to understand is that human intellect ushers in moral respon sibility. If the humanbeing uses his reasoning powers sooner or later he will come to a moral conclusion. What do I mean? He will come to a conclusion that will benefit hi fellowman. If we look at history we see that man (humanity) has de loped in his relationship with men of different countries and cultures. More and more we hear the call demanding leadership (U.S. President) to develop a peaceful relationship with. other countries. Only the human being can evolve to such sophisticated level. We have the ability to corr ct our inhumanity and prejudice to wo- men and people of other races than , '- ""'!""" __ Paid Adv.--- ...... ----------- c On Saturday, June 2, 1984 at the Benton Harbor Holiday Inn, The Learn-: ing Opportunitie Vital or Education (LO.V.E.) If we did not come to such conclusions w would destroy ourselves; So you see that Allah has given us a nature that will protect and guide us to the best life if are aware of the signs that H has planted in our natural dlsposrtlon and in the nature of other forms of creation (mentioned last week (The Ants, The B s, The Spider, etc.). One of the books mentioned in the bov verse (31:20) is The Holy Quran. Allah rev aled every word in it to prophet Muhammad of 1400 yrs. ago. It is not only a book of re ligious instruction but it is book also that instructs it's re d r to study the creation for scientific discoveries. What mankind has to b car ful of is the historical tendency to gi the credit for his discovery to man himself rather than to the Cre tor who created what man only dis covers. (2:255) So Quran warns man to reflect and study history to see what was the end of those who fell into the tendency to elevate themselves over the p pie as "God" because they had amassed great power and wealth (2:258) Allak-u-Akbar (God is Great!) Next week, The Attributes of Allah. they are signs for mans guidance. As-Salaam-Alaikum Ali F. Muhammad, Imam
