The local Y launched a fund-raising drive in 1980
and raised money necessary to con" ruct a new facility

test measured by the Leadership Con­
ference on Civil Right .
Siljander ored a nine percent on his
civil rights voting record during the 97th
congre in n from January 1981 to
October 1982.

in the Fourth District race, took issue
with Siljander's voting record in recent
