Smo e. detectors yes, but
a ou exi sting codes
To the Editor:
I heard on the news where the city
comnussion pa d an ordinance requir
ing oke detector be placed in every
home in Benton Harbor.
But I did not hear any tatement that
makes the city inspectors see to it that
the house in the city are brought up to
hat
code.
Doe the city ordinance require two
ways out in upstair apartment? What
are they going to do?
Are city inspector going to see that
landlords bring the hou 's up to code?
