CHARL01TA GA YIN,
To all my supporters in the 22nd State Senate race, I
ould like to express deep gratitude for your help and your
vote. Although e couldn't move the mountain of this
area's traditional one-party voting, for the fir t time e
pro . ded some real competition.
And, in the hard fight we put up, perhaps a little com
munity education took place the ever-reelected politi
cians will ,be forced to remember that they wor for the
minoriti , the elderly, the poor, the disabled, the unemploy
ed, the omen, the children - as well as for the politicians,
the medical providers, the insurance companies, the Cham
be of Commerce and all those who are fortunate enough
not to be in need or discriminated against.
If e have achieved that goal, regardle of the election
results, e have on. Then all of our citizen will benefit,
not just a fa ored fe .
Again, thank you for your help and your confidence,
Sincerely
Joan .er
