Maybe the Michigan State Housing Development Authority can help.
Our low-interest loan program has money to fix up houses that are at
least 20 years old, or newer homes under certain conditions.
If your family's annual adjusted income is 15,999 or less, you may
qualify for a loan at interest rates of 1 to 8 percent (Annual Percentage
Rate).
You can borrow money for basic structural repairs, in ulation and
other energy savers, ne plumbing or wiring, replacing a roof, adding a
room, and other improvements.
Applications for a loan must be made through local participating
banks and savings and loan associations.
If you mail us the coupon, we will send you more information and a
list of lenders in the MSHDA Home Improvement Program.
