hanukah Wonderland is
back and ready to dazzle.
Opening to the public at
select times from Dec. 25 through
Jan. 1 (Wednesday to Wednesday),
this magical event promises a spec-
tacular mix of fun-filled crafts, excit-
ing activities, mouthwatering holiday
foods and endless Chanukah joy for
all ages.
This year’s Wonderland will take
place in the heart of Hunter’s Square
in Farmington Hills, in the space
once home to Buy Buy Baby.
On Wednesdays, Dec. 25, and Jan.
1, from noon to 4 p.m., the doors
will swing open to a whirlwind of
activities and hands-on workshops.
Kids will get to see how olives are

transformed into oil and even make
their own delicious potato latkes and
Chanukah doughnuts.
There will also be a variety of holi-
day crafts — and don’t miss the thrill
of jumping in the world’s largest
dreidel-shaped moonbounce. Plus,
this year there’s an exciting new twist
— Laser Tag for older kids, making
this a must-see event.
On Monday, Dec. 30, get ready
for the Chanukah Parade and
Celebration. At 4 p.m., all are invited
to join a parade of light and love.
The procession will wind its way
through the Jewish Senior Life cam-
pus and Henry Ford Hospital before
concluding at the Wonderland loca-
tion, where the fun continues with

holiday food, a menorah lighting,
festive music and a jaw-dropping
performance by the world-famous
Chicago Boyz Acrobats. Best of all
— Monday’s festivities are free to
attend.
And that’s not all! Young adults
(ages 21-39) are invited to a fun-
filled “Paint and Pasta” Chanukah
party on Saturday night, Dec. 28.
Plus, a Family Challah Bake on
Friday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. will be
the perfect way to celebrate both
Shabbat and Chanukah.
