arold Kusnetz of Southfield
will celebrate his 100th
birthday on Dec. 23,
2024. Family from near and far
gathered earlier this month for the
celebration. Those helping Harold
celebrate included his children,
Lisa (Bob) Solway, Ada (Howard)
Yerman, Eliot (Julie) Kusnetz;
his grandchildren, Hannah and
Bradley Yucht, Albert, Claire and
Ellie Yerman, Ben, Aliza and Sasha
Kusnetz; and his great-grandson,
Amos Polansky.

Woodside - Bendix
S

hira Ann Woodside and
Scott Daniel Bendix are
delighted to announce their
engagement. Shira is the daughter
of the late Susie Woodside and the
late Scott Woodside. Scott is the
son of Lauren Bendix and the late
Stephen Bendix.
Shira is from North Carolina and
moved to Michigan in 2019. She
is employed at a local nonprofit,
JARC. Scott is a Michigan native.
He received his undergraduate
degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree
from Wayne State. He is a vascular surgeon in private practice.
A June wedding is planned in Michigan.

Emily and Zachary Slabotsky of Birmingham are elated
to announce the birth of their daughter, Paige Ella
Slabotsky (Hebrew name: Sasha). Excited big brother is
Gordie Ezra. Proud grandparents are Dan Kramer (the
late Phyllis) of Brighton, formerly of Huntington Woods,
as well as Susan and Larry Slabotsky of Bloomfield Hills. She is
named in loving memory of her grandmother Phyllis Kramer as well
as her great-grandmas Emily Cutler and Sally “Sasha” Slabotsky.
