Birmingham Design Firm Collects Three
Hundred Pounds of Food for Nonprofits

DesignTeam Plus, the Birmingham-based architecture and interior design
firm, held a food drive on Nov. 21, collecting 300 pounds of nonperish-
able food for local nonprofit organizations Yad Ezra and St. Joseph Family
Food Bank. This is the second annual food drive for DesignTeam Plus.
“We are so grateful to DesignTeam Plus for the food drive they held in
support of the St. Joseph Family Support Food Bank for the second year
and also of their generous donation. God bless their efforts,” said Nadrine
Grace, St. Joseph Family Support board member.
“We are so grateful to DesignTeam Plus for coming through for the sec-
ond year for Yad Ezra clients with kosher food during the holidays,” said
David Jaffee, director of operations for Yad Ezra.
In addition, DesignTeam Plus made cash donations to both organiza-
tions. DesignTeam Plus was founded on the premise of giving back to
society, placing a high priority on social responsibility and paying their
employees to volunteer. Next year, the group plans to expand the food
drive.
