DR. GERALD
SHERMAN, 88, of West
Bloomfield, died Nov. 24,
2024.
Dr. Sherman is
survived by his wife of
63 years, Renee Sherman; sons and
daughters-in-law, Mike Sherman and
Alexis Schostak, and Ted and Emily
Sherman; daughter and son-in-law,
Jackie and Erik Stamell; grandchildren,
Jason, Eric, Tom, Andrew and
Adeline Sherman, Alex, Bradley and
Charlie Stamell, and Hayley and Benji
Schostak; sister and brother-in-law,
Florence and Richard Abel; sister-in-
law, Ann Harris; many loving nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Dr. Sherman was the loving brother
of the late Irving Sherman; dear son
of the late Blanche and the late Benny
Sherman.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

DR. MILFORD
“MICKEY” WENOKUR,
94, of West Bloomfield,
died Nov. 18, 2024.
He is survived by his
beloved wife, Barbara
Wenokur; children, Wendy (Dr. Louis
“Skip”) Nichamin, Dr. Randy (Heidi)
Wenokur, Jeremy (Hila) Wenokur;
grandchildren, Rachel and Sara
Wenokur, Alex (Alison) Nichamin,
Sam Nichamin (fiancee, Andrea),
Arielle and Erin Wenokur, Ethan and
Joshua Wenokur; great-grandchild,
Alfie Nichamin; sisters-in-law, Arlene
Wenokur, Harriet Helfman, Pauline
Woll; many loving cousins, nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.
Mickey was the dear father of the
late Dr. Bruce Wenokur; the devoted
brother of the late Dr. Lawrence
Wenokur; brother-in-law of the late
Joel Helfman, the late Arthur Woll, the
late Sheila (Sheldy) Swartz.
Interment was held at Adat Shalom

Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
Contributions may be made to Jewish
Federation of Detroit or to Temple
Israel. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

ARNIE WEINER, 79, of
Royal Oak, died Nov. 23,
2024.
Mr. Weiner is survived
by his son and daughter-
in-law, Matthew and
Elisabeth Mirer; daughter, Eve Keller;
grandchildren, Mason Keller, Arthur
Mirer and Margaret Mirer. He is
also survived by many other loving
relatives, friends and the entire Jewish
community.
Mr. Weiner was the devoted son of
the late Morris and the late Ida Weiner.
Interment was at Ahavas Israel
Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
