Max Nathan Fenton,
son of Amanda and
Jacob Fenton, will
be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield on Saturday,
Dec. 7, 2024. He will be joined
in celebration by his sister
Sadie. Max is the loving grand-
son of Sheryl and Leo Morton,
and Marcia and Roger Fenton.
He is the adoring great-grand-
son of Sally Soberman.
Max is a student at South
Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. His most
meaningful mitzvah project was
volunteering and fundraising
for ADL’s Walk Against Hate
to show his solidarity against
antisemitism and against hate
toward all communities.
Paige Miller (Kayla
Margalit) of
Farmington Hills will
become a bat mitz-
vah at Temple Shir
Shalom in West
Bloomfield on Saturday, Dec. 7,
2024. She is the daughter of
Marci and Brian Miller, and sis-
ter of Eli. Proud grandparents
are Shellie and Mike Anstandig,
and Sheila and Marty Kurland.
She is also the granddaughter
of the late Michael Miller.
Paige attends Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills.
One of her mitzvah projects
was helping volunteering with
kids at the Miracle League of
Plymouth.
Michaela Rabin
(Michaela Yarden) of
Bloomfield Hills will
become a bat mitz-
vah at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield on Saturday, Dec. 7,
2024. She will be joined in cel-
ebration by her parents,
Jonathon and Amy Rabin, and
sister Rebecca. Michaela is the
loving grandchild of Patricia
and the late Rodney Shaw, and
Alexander and the late Rose
Rabin.
Michaela is a student at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. For
her mitzvah project, she collect-
ed donations for the Michigan
Animal Rescue League.
Charles Rosenberg
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
Dec. 7, 2024, at
Temple Beth El in
Bloomfield Township. He is the
son of Emily and Darren
Rosenberg, brother of Ryan and
Samantha, and grandson of
Annie and Rob Cohen, Susan
and the late Michael Fayne, and
Leonard Rosenberg.
Charlie is a seventh-grad-
er at Derby Middle School in
Birmingham. For his mitzvah
project, he will learn about food
insecurities by volunteering
with Food Rescue Detroit.
Schulman-Goldstein
D
r. Stephanie Schulman and
Joshua Goldstein, Esq. were
married Sept. 1, 2024, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. Rabbi Azaryah Cohen offi-
ciated.
The bride is the daughter of Susan
and Sanford Schulman of Chicago.
The groom’s parents are Marsha and
Arthur Goldstein of New Rochelle,
N.Y.
Stephanie attended U-M and New
York College of Medicine. She is a
pediatric resident at University of
Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital.
Joshua attended Cornell University
and N.Y.U. Law School. He is a dis-
ability rights attorney at Equip for Equality.
