PHILIP MARVIN
LEVI ELKUS, 98, of
Delray Beach, Fla., died
Nov. 4, 2024.
He was the beloved
husband of Jean Elkus
and the late Irene Elkus.
He is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Louie and Michele
Elkus, Steve and Gail Elkus, and Ron
Elkus; Jean’s children, Dr. Barry and
Carole Bakst, and Marci and Scott
Weiss; grandchildren, Rebecca and
Judah Ferst, Brad Elkus, Sarah Elkus,
Sammi Elkus, Michael Weinstock,
Sean Bakst, Dr. Bradley and Marissa
Bakst, Alexandra and Shane Jarmin,
Monica Weiss, and Jake Weiss; great-
grandchildren, Noah and Micah
Ferst, Josh and Marlee Weinstock,
Cameron, Cooper, and Corbin
Jarmin; brother-in-law, Dr. Abraham
Zellis; many loving nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
Mr. Elkus was the loving brother
of the late Floyd Elkus; the dear
brother-in-law of the late Bernice
Zellis, the late Morris Mirsky, the
late Saul and the late Roz Garfinkel,
and the late Shirley and the late
Mort Segerman.
Interment was at Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery.
