Starfish Family Service

Our Mission: At Starfish Family Services, we are dedicated to strengthening families by providing
comprehensive, high-quality programs and support services that empower families and
communities through early childhood education and wellness and behavioral health services for
all ages. Our mission is strengthening families to create brighter futures for children. Our vision
is a just society in which all children, families and communities have equitable opportunities
to grow, learn and thrive. Through evidence-supported, research-based practices, we aim to
create healthy families, successful students, and empowered communities.

What’s New?
Starfish Family Services continues to expand its reach and impact. We proudly operate 14
Early Childhood Education Centers and three Behavioral Health Clinics across Detroit and
Wayne County, serving over 3,000 children, youth, and families each year. As a member of
the P-20 Campus at Marygrove, we are part of a transformative, all-in-one educational com-
munity that supports families from prenatal care through K-12 education and beyond. Our
Behavioral Health Services (BHS) offer a comprehensive approach to mental health and well-
ness for children, youth, adults, and families. We deliver these vital services in 11 school-based
centers, three outpatient clinics, home-based programs, and through accessible telehealth
options. This season of giving, your support can create brighter futures. With your generous
donation, Starfish Family Services can continue providing life-changing services to families in
our community. Together, we can make a meaningful difference—one family at a time.
