Mrs. Hocher was the beloved wife of the late Robert Hocher; the devoted daughter of the late Priscilla Dickman and the late Nathan Cooper. Interment was at Adat Shalom Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial Chapel. PAULINE FREED SNYDER KABCENELL, 104, passed peacefully away at home in Sarasota, Fla., on Oct. 14, 2024, after years of a vibrant, healthy and fulfilling life. Pauline graduated from Chicago’s Teacher’s College and earned a mas- ter of linguistics degree in her mid- 40s from Wayne State University, Detroit. She taught physical edu- cation since, standing in for men fighting WWII and throughout her career.
