JOYCE ADELMAN, 86, 
of West Bloomfield, died 
Oct. 6, 2024. 
She was an artist, dog-
lover, a person with the 
kindest of souls and a 
true woman of valor. 
Mrs. Adelman is survived by her 
husband for more than 67 years, 
Dr. Erwin Adelman; daughters 
and sons-in-law, Cindy and Joel 
Frank, Lisa Adelman and Andy 
Epstein, Shari and Neal Barnett; 
grandchildren, Jeremy, Jared and 
David Frank, Zachary (Chloe 
Snyder) Barnett, Sasha (Matt) 
Firsten, Ariana (Michael) Firsten; 
many wonderful friends, nieces and 
nephews. Bella and the rest of the 
babies send kisses and snuggles for 
always. 
Joyce was daughter of the late 
Lawrence Louis and the late Ann 
Chudler; the sister of the late 
Lorraine (Phil) Baum and the late 
Jerry (Brenda) Chudler. 
Interment took place at Clover 
Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham.

ROBERT BASCH, 101, 
of West Bloomfield, died

He is survived by 
his son and daughter-
in-law, Dr. David and 
Debbie Basch; loving grandchildren,

He is also survived by his devoted 
companion, Lynn Levenbach; and 
many other loving family members 
and friends. 
Robert was the beloved husband 
of the late Elsie Basch.

Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery in

SUZANNE BOSCHAN,

Suzi was a history 
of art major at the 
University of Michigan 
and an advertising manager on 
The Michigan Daily. She was a life 
member and founder in Hadassah 
as well as active in many political 
causes. 
Suzi was passionate about 
all cultural arts, especially art 
museums, symphony, theater and 
ballet. She was an enthusiastic cook 
and enjoyed hosting large holiday 
meals. She took special pleasure in 
bonding with and doting on her 
grandpuppies.
Ms. Boschan is survived by 
her daughters, Laura Noveck and 
Caryn Noveck; brother and sister-
in-law, James and Shelley Boschan; 
nephews and nieces, Jason and 
Carrie Boschan, Jonathan and 
Natalie Boschan, Jared and Shira 
Boschan, Natalie and Andrew 
Baum; great-nieces and great-
nephews, Dayna, Eliana, Aviva, 
Jonah, Victor and Llewelyn

She was a beloved friend to many 
and grateful to her loyal caregivers.
