West Bloomfield, died
Sept. 27, 2024.
She is survived
by her sons and

Md., Mark Jacobson of Ann Arbor,
Richard Jacobson and Sheri Poole
of Williamsville, N.Y., Stephen and
Linda Jacobson of West Bloomfield,
Robin Jacobson; grandchildren,
Avi Jacobson and Rachel Roth,
Jeremy Jacobson and Ilana Barzel,
Shira and Ross Broms, Eli and Sami
Jacobson, Hillary Jacobson, Brian
Poole, Evan and Zoe Poole, Arica
Jacobson and Ryan Levine, Rachel
Jacobson and Rabbi Joel Goldstein,
Josh Jacobson, Marni and Michael
Rubyan, Annie Jacobson, Madeline
Jacobson; great-grandchildren, Sam,

Bernice was the beloved wife
of the late Alvin Jacobson; loving
daughter of the late Sophie and
the late Max Silverstein; cherished
mother of the late Lenny Jacobson;
dear sister and sister-in-law of the
late Louis and the late Evelyn Goff
Silverstein; beloved aunt, great-aunt
and friend.
Contributions may be made
to Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy
Network, 6555 W. Maple Road,
West Bloomfield, MI 48322; or
to a charity of one’s choice. A
funeral service was held at Hebrew
Memorial Chapel. Interment took
place at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial
Chapel.

BENJAMIN MONAST,
97, of West Bloomfield,
died Sept. 28, 2024.
He is survived by
his beloved wife, Ilene
Monast; son, Dale

Monast; daughters and son-in-law,
Sandra Monast, Sheila and Jeffrey
Reiss; grandchildren, Tory Reiss,
Elie Reiss, Arianna Monast, Sarah
Monast, Joshua Monast and Leah
Monast; many other loving family
members and friends.
Benjamin was the brother of the
late Sam (the late Sylvia) Monast.
Contributions may be made to
the Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy
of Michigan or to a charity of one’s
choice. Interment was held at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

LINDA RADIN, 67, of
Southfield, died Sept.
29, 2024.
She was a wonderful
photographer, loving
sister and a caring soul
who lives in the family’s hearts
forever.
She is survived by her husband,
Patrick Carty; sister and brother-
in-law, Jill Radin and Matthew
Finerman; many loving relatives
and friends.
Mrs. Radin was the devoted
daughter of the late Irving and the
late Margaret Radin; the dear sister
of the late Steven Radin.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions
may be made to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude
Place, Memphis, TN 38105, stjude.

ROSENTHAL, 69, of
Easton, Conn., passed
away peacefully on
Aug. 28, 2024, after a
fight with cancer since last fall.
She is survived by her husband of
