OBITUARIES
OF BLESSED MEMORY

GUY BARRON, 90, of
Bloomfield Hills, died
Sept. 18, 2024.
He is survived by
his wife of 63 years,
Nora Barron; sons and
daughter-in-law, Eric Barron and
Wenise Wong, Judge Marc Barron
and his fiancee, Taren Plackmann;
grandchildren, Violet, Brooks, Lee
and Quinn Barron; brother-in-law
and sister-in-law, Irving and Carol
Smokler. He is also survived by
Sharon LaFraniere and other loving
relatives and friends.
Mr. Barron was the devoted son
of the late S. Brooks and the late
Florence Barron.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions

MARSHALL J.
BLONDY, M.D., 90,
passed away on Sept.
24, 2024.
He was born on
March 22, 1934, son
of Sophie (Cohen) Blondy and
Samuel Blondy of Detroit.
Marshall attended the University
of Michigan for his undergrad-
uate education and Wayne State
University for his medical degree.
Following graduation, he com-
pleted his residency at Detroit
Receiving Hospital, specializing in
pediatrics.
After residency, Marshall
worked for most of his career
at Metropolitan Associates in
Pediatrics until it closed in 2002.
