Mrs. Krugel was the loving sister 
of the late Ben Sorscher and the late 
Alan Sorscher; the dear sister-in-
law of the late Raymond Failer, the 
late Ed Landy, the late Dr. Lawrence 
Krugel, the late Charles Ellstein, the 
late Joe Wildberg and the late Carol 
Krugel.

BETH ELLEN WOLFE, 
61, of Raleigh, N.C., for-
merly of Michigan, 
passed away peacefully 
on Sept. 20, 2024, two 
days shy of her 62nd 
birthday.
Beth grew up in Southfield, and 
as an adult she lived in northern 
California, London, England, and 
Raleigh. 
She received her bachelor of sci-
ence in computer science, obtained 
her M.B.A. and her juris doctor 
degree, passing the bar at the age of 
54. 
She loved the outdoors, traveled 
the world with friends and loved 
spending time with her family.
Beth was the daughter of the late 
Harold and Avis Wolfe. She was 
the loving sister of Marci and Paul 
Zeman, Eric and Tracey Wolfe, David 
and Sandy Wolfe, and Todd and 
Sarah Wolfe. She is also survived 

by her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey 
Zeman and Ariana Orvell, Carli and 
Ben Jones, Joshua and Elizabeth 
Zeman, Lowell and Veronica Wolfe, 
Derek and Dorrie Wolfe, Ethan 
Wolfe, Amanda and Ryan Pimlott, 
Jake and Marissa Katzman, Alexa 
Katzman, Micole, and Ari Wolfe; 
great-nieces and great-nephews, 
Averie and Lila Zeman, Logan and 
Sofie Jones, Hannah and Blake 
Zeman, Payton and Brinley Pimlott; 
her very close friend, Jan Kimball, 
who provided wonderful support, 
friendship and a lifetime of memo-
ries; and a world of friends all over 
the world.
The family thanks the staff of UNC 
Rex Health System and Transitions 
LifeCare for their caring and excel-
lent support throughout her illness.
