Likewise, Sittsamer, who lives in
Pittsburgh, will be traveling back
to Metro Detroit to participate in
the 2024 family apple-picking trip.
“It really shows how excited every-
one is to continue this tradition,”
Vineburg says, “and we now have
three generations participating.”
While Michela Vineburg might
not remember her first trip to what
is now Blake’s in South Lyon, Lexie
Vineburg knows it’s a memory
she’ll cherish forever — and even-
tually Michela, too.
“My baby is too young to
remember herself,” she says, “but I
hope looking back she can look at
these pictures and recreate these
traditions with her kids, God-
willing.”
