TOBY ALLWEIL, 78, 
of Farmington, died 
Sept. 15, 2024. 
She is survived by 
her husband of 43 
years, Gary Kress; 
brother and sister-in-law, Mandel 
Allweil and Cathy Brown; 
nephews and nieces, Jack Allweil 
and Elena Fazilova, Alexander 
Allweil, and Rayna Allweil; 
lifelong best friend, Sharon 
Applebaum. 
Mrs. Allweil was the devoted 
daughter of the late Alice and the 
late Jack Allweil. 
Interment was at Beth El 
Memorial Park. Contributions

JANET ABRAMSON 
BORSON, 96, of West 
Bloomfield, died Sept. 
15, 2024. 
Janet leaves a legacy 
of fierce loyalty and 
commitment to her family, love of 
travel and adventure, phenomenal 
taste in dress and house design, 
and fame as a master bridge 
player.
Janet was the beloved wife 
for 46 years of the late Julius 
Abramson; and for 20 years of the 
late Dr. Fred Borson; mother of 
the late Jeffry Abramson; sister-
in-law of the late Sandra Arfa; 
grandmother of the late Jacob 
Borson. 
She is survived by her children, 
Jay and Joanna Abramson, James 
Abramson and Donna Collova, 
Debby Abramson and David 
Schwartz, Dr. Robert Borson,
